Cell Culture

2D/3D cell culture, corneal, neuron & glial cell handling, primary cell isolation and axonal extension analysis.

In Vivo Models

Animal handling and experimental model development, including corneal transplantation and preclinical ocular testing in rabbit models.

Experimental Techniques

Immunocytochemistry (ICC), immunofluorescence (IF), cell viability assays (Alamar Blue, MTT, Live/Dead), microscopy-based analysis (confocal & fluorescence), ATR-FTIR analysis, flow cytometry, microtomy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, mechanical testing (tensile & compression) and rheological examination.

3D Bioprinting & Fabrication

Proficient in EnvisionTEC, Allevi 2, Formlabs Form 2 and Ultimaker S5 systems. 3D bioprinting systems and bioink formulation for neural and corneal applications.
