Our poster explored how NMDA receptor signalling may shape the dialogue between nerves, tumour cells and immune cells in pancreatic cancer and chronic pancreatitis.
Our research on NMDA receptor signalling in pancreatic cancer and chronic pancreatitis was presented at the EACR Cancer Neuroscience Conference in Bilbao with travel grant support from the European Association for Cancer Research.
The poster focused on how NMDAR-driven signalling may influence nerve–tumour–immune crosstalk, pain, neural remodelling, fibrosis and tumour progression within the pancreatic microenvironment.
The meeting reinforced the importance of cancer neuroscience as a growing translational field and created valuable scientific exchange around the intersection of cancer biology, neurobiology and immunity.
